Host a DRN Remote
Our affiliates can host their own coast-to-coast remote broadcast from their hometown.
The best time to party is on the weekends. The Dance Radio Network agrees that Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights should be special. We love audience participation here on the nation's largest dance floor. That's why DRN will often broadcast remotely from our affiliate cities across America when the sun sets for the weekend.
Official Automation System
The Dance Radio Network recommends Simian from Broadcast Software International in conjunction with our syndicated services.
DRN provides our affiliate stations comprehensive information to launch their own announcements at scheduled breaks. Your IDs, liners, commercials, etc. will all easily air even when your station is unattended.
DRN also has our own unique applications using ASP.NET code which run well with Simian. We have Total Control Radio (listeners vote in real time for song, then it automatically airs), Top Songs (top 5 songs of the week can automatically load for on-air countdown), Sponsor Importer (list the days/times for each sponsor mention to submit to client), Web Poller (title streamer online), Show Loader (mixshows can load their playlist to the master log), Weather Console (automated local weather with the voice of your talent and also IDs your station), and unattended live remote (host a live remote without a board operator on duty).
We will also provide you tips to automatically insert local traffic reports (via FTP to your automation system), news and community updates, school closings, Emergency Alert System tests, and listener requests. In addition, we provide 'What's Playing Now' utilizing XML for your own local web site or RDS needs. The Dance Radio Network keeps an online database of all songs aired, weekly spin count, and weekly top 40.
